       Oakville School District’s Missing
     and Murdered Indigenous Women
Walk 2025 started at 2:20 p.m. at the
high school track on May 5.
The walk is meant to raise
     awareness about the disproportionately
high rates of violence experienced by
     indigenous women and girls.
       The red hand symbolizes the
     connection between the physical and
     spiritual worlds.
       Participants wore red clothing in
     solidarity.
