Program Information U.S. Highway 12 Safety Study Draft Report Available For Review and Public Comment The Chehalis Tribe Planning Department has commissioned Kittelson and Associates (recognized leading experts on Traffc Safety Analysis) to perform a safety study on Highway 12 through a corridor roughly defned from the City of Oakville to the City of Rochester. As part of this study, Kittelson has evaluated improvement alternatives proposed over the past few years by the Tribe, WSDOT, and Thurston County… in addition to providing their own recommendations. Some examples of interesting improvement possibilities found in the Draft Report include a roundabout at Anderson Road and access restrictions at Moon Road.
