Young Tribal Member Recognized For Artistic Expression Outreach Parade Young Tribal Member Artist, Maddex, participated in Centralia Parks and Recreation “Arts in the Park” summer camp at Borst Park. The camp exposed Maddex to various forms of art including water color painting, sculptures and photography. Maddex especially loved photography. After camp, Maddex entered three photographs and one water color painting into the Southwest Washington Fair. His painting was awarded second place in the Junior Art category. Amazingly every single one of his photographs won an award. Maddex came home with second place, frst place and Reserve Champion ribbons in the Junior Photography category. Way to go Maddex!
