     Tribe supports cancer research







     Leukemia &
     Lymphoma Society
     gifted $5,000 check in
     honor of fellow donor
     George Thorogood

       The Chehalis Tribe welcomed
     “Bad to the Bone” rockers George
     Thorogood & The Destroyers to
     Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel on
     May 4.
       Both Thorogood and the tribe
     have been strong supporters of
     the critical cancer research and
     patient services provided by the
     Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
     (LLS). To celebrate Thorogood’s
     Good to be Bad Tour: 45 Years
     of Rock and to honor him for his
     commitment to ending cancers,   Tribal member Vicki Hanna presents a donation to blues-based rock musician George Thorogood and
     the tribe presented a donation to   Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Campaign Specialist Sam Egan.

     organizations as she presented
     the gift to Thorogood and LLS
     Campaign Specialist Sam Egan.
       “I like supporting this
     important work, but you know,
     I’m just trying to do the right
     thing – just doing what I can to
     help people,” Thorogood said.

     leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma
     and other rare cancers. As the
