Chehalis tribal elders and their traveling companions enjoyed vacationing on Oahu in November.

Northwest rain for sunny
adventure on Oahu

Elders and their families braved the
early morning hours to leave for Oahu at
2:45 a.m. Nov. 15.
They met at the Chehalis Tribal
Elders Center to board charter buses
to Portland and Seattle for flights to
paradise. This was the first big trip since
the COVID-19 pandemic hit that elders at sites from the “Jurassic” movies and shows
have traveled by plane. such as “Hawaii Five-0,” “Lost” and “Magnum
