The Chehalis Tribal Tax Office administers Tribal tax laws under the policy direction of the Business Committee, supporting the Tribe’s exercise of its sovereign taxing authority. The Office helps taxpayers understand and meet their filing and payment obligations through clear guidance and fair, consistent administration. It also advises the Business Committee on tax policy and coordinates with Tribal departments, enterprises, and other governments to implement those policies and address tax administration issues.
