Summary
Prepare fresh food items while maintaining food safety, sanitation, and quality standards in a fast-paced deli environment. Packaging hot case items, stocking and rotating products, setting up and breaking down the deli station, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and work areas, washing dishes and utensils, disposing of kitchen waste, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- 6 months of experience in a fast food, deli, or similar food service environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math skills required
- Able to stand for extended periods time
- Able to frequently bend, reach, push, and pull
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
