1980
Land Reparations Claim Denied
The court denied the Tribe’s land reparations claim, ruling that its participation in the unratified Dart Treaties made it ineligible to receive compensation.
1988
Tribal Police Department
The Chehalis Tribal Police Department was established, and Ralph Wyman was appointed Chief of Police. He served in this role from 1989 to 2017.
1989
Criminal Jurisdiction Restored
Washington State formally retroceded criminal jurisdiction to the Chehalis Tribe, enabling the Tribe to begin adjudicating criminal cases in its own court.

Lucky Eagle Casino
The Lucky Eagle Casino officially opened.
2006
The Great Wolf Lodge
The Tribe entered into a partnership with Great Wolf Lodge.
