Clinic receptionist  highlighted for work at the Chehalis Tribe’s Wellness Center.

Scarlett Romero is named the 2018 November Employee of the Month for her commitment to the workplace and making the Chehalis Tribe’s Wellness Center feel welcoming as she greets guest at the front desk.

Romero is a quiet person, but she lets her actions speak for her. And, her supervisors praise how devoted she is to her job. She holds numerous responsibilities as the receptionist at the tribal clinic. There is a lot that goes on daily, and she helps keep everything in order.

She makes every effort possible to ensure that patients are provided with the proper services required, which is an example of things she does behind the scenes to accommodate all parties.

Romero takes on part of the scheduling duties where she is working endlessly to arrange appointments. She is caring in nature, always stands up for the patients’ rights, and will speak on behalf of the patient if she thinks something is wrong.

Also, Romero understands how important confidentiality is with her position, and she takes that aspect of her job seriously.
