Tribal Court - The Chehalis Tribe

Judicial Services:

The Chehalis Tribe provides judicial services one day per week, which alternate between civil and criminal cases. Information may be obtained by contacting Merry Beth Hofstetter, Court Clerk at +1 (360) 709-1615 or Matthew Esselstrom at +1 (360) 709-1634.

The Clerk’s office is open daily Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. Court forms are available in the lobby, next to the Clerk’s office. Court papers may also be downloaded using the links below.

Filing Fee:

A $25.00 filing fee must be paid when you file your court papers. The fee must be paid at the accounting office and the receipt provided to the clerk when you file. If you cannot afford the fee you must file a fee waiver request which will be reviewed by the Judge to determine if any or all of the fee should be waived.
