Visiting an Inmate

Visitation is available by appointment. You must request a visitation appointment at least 72 hours prior to the time you wish to visit. Visitation is only allowed for one hour increments – between 8:00AM & 4:00PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Call: 360-709-1603 to make an appointment, remember you will need to provide proper ID when you arrive for your visit.

    • You may not bring food or other items to inmates!
    • Note: Money may be placed in an inmate account for use on phone cards and limited commissary.

Chehalis Tribal Law Enforcement offers a full service jail, capable of housing both male and female inmates. The 34-bed Chehalis tribal detention facility is equipped to handle short-term sentencing, up to a year incarceration, for misdemeanor offences. The Chehalis Tribe also contracts with several other law enforcement agencies to house their inmates. On average, the detention facility houses 18 prisoners a day.
